What to Expect
At Olivet, you’ll see people in casual dress and Sunday-best but, most of all, you’ll see people loving people. Olivet is a diverse congregation made up of people from different generations, cultures, economic levels, and backgrounds. Everyone is welcome.
We have Sunday School for all ages at 9:30 am and worship at 10:45 am. Children’s church is offered for little ones, but they are also welcome to attend ‘big church’ with their parents.
You can enter at the south ramp entrance (on 10th Street) or up the stairs on the east side of the church (Klein Street). The south entrance door closes at 10:45 am so please use the east stairs after that time.
Olivet is an inner-city historic church, complete with stained glass windows, a pipe organ, and old-fashioned pews – all under a stunning stained-glass dome. Within this beautiful center of worship, we sing hymns and contemporary selections in praise to our God who has blessed us for over a century. Our services are times of reverence and relevance. God’s Word is preached each Sunday; you will hear something that you can carry with you into the weeks ahead.
Olivet is a small congregation so you will never get lost in the crowd. We know each other; we pray for each other; we fellowship together; and we grow in God's Word together . If you’re looking for a church ‘family,’ we welcome you to join us in worship, study, and service.
We look forward to meeting you!
